Seashore

This is a watercolour of some seashells on the seashore. The size of this watercolour is 11 in x 9 in unmounted or framed. It would suit any room but a bathroom would make an ideal spot for this especially if you have a seashore theme.

One Terrace Place

This is a watercolour called One Terrace Place. Its a road from my imagination like the very posh houses in a big city. A house I would love to live in one day!

I love doing architecture and buildings. The stone work is so detailed and the colours are amazing. I particularly like the bright red door and the matching flowers in the window basket.

Lovely Kittens

Another watercoloured card. A special painting of some kittens cuddling. A very unusual subject matter for me but a very enjoyable one.

What A View!

Clematis Jackmanii

An original watercolour of a large purple clematis double mounted in two shades of purple, with a black frame. Ready to hang on your wall. Would make a great statement on any wall. Especially if you love flowers of any kind. The petals look so real.

Fast And Furious

A lovely bright yellow sports car. Something I would love to own one day! ( I can dream can't I?) This is a birthday card I made for someone who loves fast cars. Pink Cyclamen For Rose

This is a beautiful watercoloured card of some winter cyclamen out of our garden. It always amazes me how they flower so much especially in heavy winters days. I love them and think they always bring a lovely splash of colour to our lives in winter.

War Memorial, Brackley Market Place

This is a watercolour painting commission for the Mayor Of Brackley Mr Chris Blunden. It is for his Thank You card along with two of my other images.

He has bought the rights for the whole of this painting and so there aren't any prints or cards available to me. But if you would like something simliar I could do one for you to your specifications.

Autumn Pumpkins

This is a photo of a watercoloured card I made for my Uncle Alan. He loves his garden. This card would be suitable for many occasions and both men and women who love gardening etc.

Country Courtyard

A watercolour of a country courtyard. The ideal setting for having a drink of wine or as the people who know me would say a gin and tonic. Relaxing in the sun!

I gave this original painting to my Sister in Law Rose. She loves it and has it hanging in her lounge.

The Bridge Of Sighs

This watercolour is The Bridge of Sighs in Oxford. Part of Hertford College. I love the colour of the Oxford stone, and the perspective of this watercolour. I am hoping in time to be able to paint some more colleges and views in and around Oxford.

Delphinium Elatum

This painting is of a blue Delphinium Elatum flower. The beautiful blue colours on the petals turned out really well indeed. The finished flower looks great and the colours are so vibrant.
The original was a water coloured card for one of my special friends Ellen for her birthday. I loved the finished painting so much that I decided to have cards made out of it.

Broad Street, Oxford

A watercolour of Broad Street in Oxford. A vibrant street full of colour right in the centre of Oxford. This street has always caught my attention and reminds me of what Oxford is all about. Full of bikes and people going along their daily lives. This must be my third attempt at this painting and finally its worked for me. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Blue Jay Delphinium

This is an original watercolour of a group of Blue Jay Delphiniums. The size of the framed and mounted painting is 47.5 x 40 cm. It has a double blue mount and a blue frame.

Montage Of Paintings

This is a frame of small special paintings made especially for someone special. I came up with the idea for my two sons for when they leave home. Its different places that mean something to them and places they will never forget. This was a commission I did late last year. It would make an ideal present for that someone who has everything and you can't think of anything to buy them.

Fanfare Delphinium

This is a new watercolour of a Delphinium called Fanfare. A beautiful vibrant purple pinky flower head.

This painting is using mixed media with watercolours and inktense pencils.

Church Street Buckingham

Beautiful watercolour of Church Street in Buckingham. A lovely colourful street in Buckingham with the Church at the end. I love the perspective and the row of coloured cars.

The Radcliffe Camera

A painting of a traditional view of the Oxford skyline predominently featuring the Radcliffe Camera.

This painting shows the Oxford stone on the buildings. A very famous skyline and one that always makes me think of Andy.

Port Sunlight Rose

An original watercolour painting of the Port Sunlight Rose.

The lovely vibrant oranges in this painting make it a lovely present.

The painting size as shown framed and mounted is 30 x 30 cm.

Morecambe Bay

This is an original watercolour of Morecambe Bay. The size is 57 cm x 52 cm when it is framed and double mounted. The double mount is two shades of blue and the frame is blue too. I think it looks very nice indeed and would make a great present for anyone who loves Morecambe.

Another very unusual subject matter for me. But I gave it a go, and this is the finished project.

The Beautiful Town Hall In Brackley

A beautiful watercolour of the Town Hall in Brackley. I love the beautiful perspective on this painting, and it would make an ideal present for anyone who loves Brackley or where Brackley means something to them.

Beautiful fuscias out of the garden. A fabulous painted card for that someone special in your life. If you would like something like this then please let me know.

Venice

I was lucky enough to visit Venice two years ago and I took the opportunity to do some watercolours on my return. This is a view of the Grand Canal. I love the way I have caught the famous orange glow on the stonework.

Magnolia

Butterfly Canvas

This is a new variation to me. My butterfly and buddlhia painting made into a canvas. Its a very small canvas but that makes it more versatile as it doesn't take up too much room on your walls.

Morning Glory

This is a watercolour of a rural scene of a colourful cockrel on a barn door. It would be suitable for any occasion and for male or female. I enjoyed the challenge of painting a new subject and loved the feathers on the cockrel.

This is an original watercolour of a vase of Daffodils. The picture is double mounted and framed in black as shown on the left and is 52 x 42.5 cm.

Summertime Roses

Summertime Roses is one of my latest watercolours. Some special pink Roses from our garden. We haven't had much of a summer this year but painting these Roses made me happy and think of summers past. The size of this watercolour is 9.5 in x 8 in. This is the size unmounted or framed.

Summer Sunflower

This is a watercolour painting of a sunflower. Zoe always wanted one and I thought that I would paint her this one for her birthday. Its an unusual painting in that its up very close to the middle of the vibrant sunflower showing all the details there.

Sunflowers are beautiful and make such good subjects for the watercolour artist. I hope you like it as much as I do.

The Old Gaol Buckingham

A simple watercolour of the Old Gaol in Buckingham. I loved the shape of this building and think it made a great watercolour. Full of colour and character.The original of this painting is being exhibited at Ginny Gray Gallery in Buckingham if you would like to see it.

Apple Blossom

This is a watercolour of Apple Blossom in our garden. It was quite a challenge as the white of the blossom with light and shade proved difficult for me. But I overcame the challenge and feel this is a lovely painting. The blossom has now turned into apples and I have been making lots of crumbles. How yummy is that!

The Queen's College

This is a view of the Queen's College Oxford. Painted for my son Andy's 21st Birthday. He was studying at Queen's for three years in Economics and Management.

It has been my most successful watercolour so far in my career. I have sold many prints and even had one auctioned for charity for the College.

Moving House

This small watercoloured card was a design I made for a moving house card. I thought it was rather sweet and a individual handmade design.

High Street Brackley

Original watercolour of High Street Brackley with the Crown Hotel and family butchers shop. Looking very vibrant and colourful. Would make an ideal present for anyone who lives in Brackley or Brackley has a special part in their lives. The image size is rougly 11 x 15 inches. This picture is double mounted and framed ready for you to hang on your wall.

Sunshine

A watercolour of some beautiful roses we saw in a garden centre last year. I have been meaning to paint them for a while but just haven't been able to get down to it until now. So here they are. I love the vibrant colours and hence the name they make me think of summer and sunshine.

One For The Pot

This lobster watercolour was one of my first paintings. I loved the subject matter very much especially the vibrant colours and texture of his shell.

This is hanging in my kitchen and I would sell it if the price was right....

Splashing Around

My father in Law Sid loves ducks and when I first started painting I decided to paint this for him.

It hangs in his kitchen/dinning room.

I loved painting the water and the features on the duck.

Poinsetta

I painted this poinsetta for a Christmas Card Design. It worked out very well and I loved the details in the leaves of the flower.

Cedric The Leopard

Cedric The Leopard is a A4 size painting in watercolour of a leopard slumbering on a tree in the jungle. He is half asleep just concentrating enough on his surroundings and not wanting to miss anything exciting. He is a very unusual subject matter for me and I love the finished painting very much indeed.

He is going to be exhibited at Rowan's Gallery here in Brackley and you can buy cards and prints of him should you wish something cheaper.

Scrumpy Time

Scrumpy time reminds me of drinking cider in Somerset. My Dad used to take me to the Farm to do some tasting and then buy some for drinking at home!

I love the colours in the apples and the paper of the paper bag. A subject I found very hard at the beginning of my painting career.

Brackley Town Hall

This view is of the town hall in my home town of Brackley. Brackley is a small market town and the Town Hall dominates the skyline for miles around.

Christmas White Petals

This watercolour of a white poinsettia was my Christmas Design for Christmas 2008. I loved the beautiful background, in which I used a new technique of salt onto wet watercolour. It has a very surreal feeling, and the detail on the petals I feel is very good indeed.

Buddleia And Red Admiral Butterfly

Original Watercolour of a blue buddleia with a red admiral butterfly. Lovely original watercolour with vibrant colours on both the buds and the butterfly and leaves.

Spring Time

Spring time is the first mixed media watercolour painting. I used coloured ink to highlight the colours in the petals.

This original is hanging in my bedroom and I love looking at it every morning when I wake up.

A Home At The Seaside

A home at the seaside is a row of brightly coloured beach huts. A fantastic watercolour painting and would brighten up any wall.

Dolphins

This was a commission that I did of some dolphins. When I was asked to paint this picture I was more than a little daunted. I said that I would give it a try and if it didn't work out then that would be that. But as the painting came on I began to enjoy it. As it really isn't my usual subject it did prove a challange.

But in the end I really enjoyed painting it especially the waves and water.

Perfectly Formed

This seems to be a recurring theme for me at the moment. Little brightly coloured fast sports cars. There seem to be so many men in my life that are at that age when they dream of owning one of these.

Boreray Ram

A watercolour painting of a Boreray Ram. Lovely detail on the horns and head of this beautiful ram. Double mounted and framed in black. Ready to hang on your wall. Quantock Trail

This was my Christmas card for 2007. A very difficult subject indeed. I wanted to do something different from my usual robin or flower card.

I can see the improvement in my work year by year and was very happy with this finished design.

Liverpool Skyline

The famous skyline of Liverpool was painted for my son Andy. He is lucky enough to live in Liverpool and I thought it would be special for him to have this card for his birthday. This year Liverpool is the City of Culture and is undergoing lots of building work. If you would like something similar then please do not hesitate to let me know.

Wells Cathedral

I lived in Wells in Somerset for 23 years. It will always have a special place in my heart. This is a painting of the famous Cathedral. I love this painting very much and think it makes an ideal present in either print or card form.

The original painting I gave to my special friend Zoe for her birthday this year. She is now finding a place to hang it!

A Piece Of Cake

This is a design of a cup cake, very appetising indeed. You could just pick it up and eat it! This original watercolour would make a great card or gift framed for a present to someone who loves cakes!

Into Summer

Into Summer is a fabulous watercolour painting of some hot red poppies with daisies and primroses. It makes me think of going from spring into summer and the anticipation of the sunny months ahead.

Fast And Red

This is a watercolour painting of a lovely bright red sports car. This card was painted for my husband Timmy who would like to own a special car just like this one. Maybe one day.

100th Birthday Rose

A watercolour painting of a Pink Rose out of our garden. It would make a lovely present or card for that special person in your life. I painted it for my Gran for her 100th Birthday. How amazing is that. This is a one off design but if you would like something similar then please let me know.

Summer Sweet Peas were a watercoloured card I painted for a special friend of mine for her birthday. They were sweet peas out of our garden and I thought they were such beautiful vibrant colours that they needed painting.

Lincoln Cathedral

This is a very special watercolour that I painted for Stephie for her 21st Birthday. Tim, Andy and I went to Lincoln to visit Stephie and spent a day there sightseeing and looking around. It is such a lovely place and the Cathedral is very beautiful indeed and well worth a visit if you ever get the chance.

Farmers Market Day - Brackley

This is a wonderful watercolour of Farmers Market Day here in Brackley. I loved the colourful tents surrounding the Town Hall. It takes place on the third Saturday in every month. With local meats and produce.The original of this painting was sold to Brackley Town Council to give to Brawn GP for all their success in the Grand Prix.

Vibrant Poppies

This is a very special watercolour that I painted for my best friend Ellen. I sent it as a condolence card as I thought it was appropriate with the rememberence connection.

But it would be suitable for any special occassion as a watercoloured card or as a picture for the wall.

Sunflower

This is a watercolour of a vibrant sunflower. The sunflower really caught my eye with the bright golden colours of the petals. A very delicate painting which Tim loved so much its hanging on our landing. If you would like me to paint something similar then please do not hesitate to ask.
