This is a watercolour called One Terrace Place. Its a road from my imagination like the very posh houses in a big city. A house I would love to live in one day!
I love doing architecture and buildings. The stone work is so detailed and the colours are amazing. I particularly like the bright red door and the matching flowers in the window basket.

This is a beautiful watercoloured card of some winter cyclamen out of our garden. It always amazes me how they flower so much especially in heavy winters days. I love them and think they always bring a lovely splash of colour to our lives in winter.

This painting is of a blue Delphinium Elatum flower. The beautiful blue colours on the petals turned out really well indeed. The finished flower looks great and the colours are so vibrant.
The original was a water coloured card for one of my special friends Ellen for her birthday. I loved the finished painting so much that I decided to have cards made out of it.

A watercolour of Broad Street in Oxford. A vibrant street full of colour right in the centre of Oxford. This street has always caught my attention and reminds me of what Oxford is all about. Full of bikes and people going along their daily lives. This must be my third attempt at this painting and finally its worked for me. Hope you like it as much as I do.

This is an original watercolour of a group of Blue Jay Delphiniums. The size of the framed and mounted painting is 47.5 x 40 cm. It has a double blue mount and a blue frame.

This is a frame of small special paintings made especially for someone special. I came up with the idea for my two sons for when they leave home. Its different places that mean something to them and places they will never forget. This was a commission I did late last year. I was lucky enough to visit Venice two years ago and I took the opportunity to do some watercolours on my return. This is a view of the Grand Canal. I love the way I have caught the famous orange glow on the stonework.

This is a watercolour painting of a sunflower. Zoe always wanted one and I thought that I would paint her this one for her birthday. Its an unusual painting in that its up very close to the middle of the vibrant sunflower showing all the details there.

This is a watercolour of Apple Blossom in our garden. It was quite a challenge as the white of the blossom with light and shade proved difficult for me. But I overcame the challenge and feel this is a lovely painting. The blossom has now turned into apples and I have been making lots of crumbles. How yummy is that!

This is a view of the Queen's College Oxford. Painted for my son Andy's 21st Birthday. He was studying at Queen's for three years in Economics and Management.

Cedric The Leopard is a A4 size painting in watercolour of a leopard slumbering on a tree in the jungle. Scrumpy time reminds me of drinking cider in Somerset. My Dad used to take me to the Farm to do some tasting and then buy some for drinking at home!
I love the colours in the apples and the paper of the paper bag. A subject I found very hard at the beginning of my painting career.
This view is of the town hall in my home town of Brackley. Brackley is a small market town and the Town Hall dominates the skyline for miles around.

This watercolour of a white poinsettia was my Christmas Design for Christmas 2008. I loved the beautiful background, in which I used a new technique of salt onto wet watercolour. It has a very surreal feeling, and the detail on the petals I feel is very good indeed.

Spring time is the first mixed media watercolour painting. I used coloured ink to highlight the colours in the petals.
This original is hanging in my bedroom and I love looking at it every morning when I wake up.

This was a commission that I did of some dolphins. When I was asked to paint this picture I was more than a little daunted. I said that I would give it a try and if it didn't work out then that would be that. But as the painting came on I began to enjoy it. As it really isn't my usual subject it did prove a challange.
But in the end I really enjoyed painting it especially the waves and water.
This seems to be a recurring theme for me at the moment. Little brightly coloured fast sports cars. There seem to be so many men in my life that are at that age when they dream of owning one of these.

This was my Christmas card for 2007. A very difficult subject indeed. I wanted to do something different from my usual robin or flower card.

This is a very special watercolour that I painted for Stephie for her 21st Birthday. Tim, Andy and I went to Lincoln to visit Stephie and spent a day there sightseeing and looking around. It is such a lovely place and the Cathedral is very beautiful indeed and well worth a visit if you ever get the chance.

This is a wonderful watercolour of Farmers Market Day here in Brackley. I loved the colourful tents surrounding the Town Hall. It takes place on the third Saturday in every month.
