Painting In Watercolour

I have been painting in watercolours now for many years and recently have begun to exhibit and sell pieces of work that I have created. My subjects range from buildings to flowers.

Most recently I have produced many studies of Oxford with views including Colleges in the University, and other landmarks that are famous in and around Oxford.

Rowans Gallery / Ginny Gray Gallery - Brackley and Buckingham

I am exhibiting at Rowans Gallery here in Brackley and also at Ginny Gray Gallery in Buckingham.  Both of which have a selection of my artwork and cards.  During the year I am also hoping to exhibit at some local exhibitions, in May I am normally in the Michael Heseltine Open Exhibition in Middleton Cheney and this year for the first time I am hoping to be exhibiting at The Wellingborough Open Art Competition at The Castle in Wellingborough during the month of July.  But we shall see how things progress but the willingness is there and I am excited very much indeed.  This year I am also artist in residence to the Mayor of Brackley (Chris Blunden) and have designed and painted his Thank You card and Christmas Card.

Watercolour of a leopard sitting in a branch asleepCedric  The Leopard

This is my latest watercolour.  A real change from my normal subjects of architecture and flowers.  But I really enjoyed painting him so much indeed.  I love the colours and the way he is slumbering on the tree waiting for some lunch to come by. The original is for sale priced at £150.

At the moment he is being exhibited at Rowan's Gallery here in Brackley.  Cards are also available of him should you wish something smaller.
